D: my brother has had a rough life. He's cruel yes, but he does love, and he does care, you just have to give him a reason to trust you.
S: Trust me? what about trusting him? He drugged… (Dyston puts a hand on her arm)
D: It's okay, we don't have to talk about it.

S: When it ended, Jacob, Dyston's best friend, wasn't in a good place. We just hope he can find what he lost.

S: there are so many secrets surrounding this book, series, and Blackbell Academy that you need a place the size of the Pentagon to store them all. (looks at Dyston)
