Review #113: The Queen's Army- Marissa Meyer

Summary: It is time. The boy must leave his family to serve in the Queen's army. To be chosen is an honor. To decline is impossible. The boy is modified. He is trained for several years, and learns to fight to the death. He proves to the Queen—and to himself—that he is capable of evil. He is just the kind of soldier the Queen wants: the alpha of his pack.
Title: The Queen's Army
Series: The Lunar Chronicles
Pages: 18
Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: I also stumbled across this in-between when I found Glitches and I really enjoyed them both. The Queen's Army gives you background about Ze'ev, AKA Wolf. It is basically Wolf's whole life story leading up to Scarlet. It explains why he is e way he is and why him and his younger brother Ran are not close. It also has quite a bit of action that was very well detailed. I feel really bad for both Z and Ran for what the both went through during their childhoods. I really hope that the dumb Queen gets what is coming to. Her and soon. I can't wait to continue the series and hopefully there are more in- betweens. I found both the short story and Glitches helpful and are must reads if you plan to read the series.
