Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Firstly I want to say that I am in love with this cover, it's what really drew me in to this book in the first place. Now to the harder parts. For some reason I thought this book was full length but it's not, it is a whopping 54 pages and I was actually thankful for that. I found the writing of the stories to be fine. But I felt like because they were so short that you were dropped in the middle of the story and then it was cut off. It just felt like you were getting a snippet of the story so with each story I was left wanting more. Also the last story stuck out like a sore thumb because every other story was contemporary where this one was paranormal ish. So it didn't really jive with the other stories.
I feel like I want to read other novels that are full length by these authors because they were good at drawing me into the story but they all just bluntly ended. You just meet the characters and find out a tiny piece of their life and then the story is over. I think I would recommend people to read other works by these authors to see if they like their writing and then try this anthology just as an extra.
